Swinging with the Stars Saskatoon takes eight of the cities top celebrities and pairs them each with a professional dancer. Together over the course of 3-6 months, they rehearse a two-minute choreographed dance routine which will be performed on the evening of the gala on January 27th, 2018.

Trusted is proud to be 2018 Swinging With The Stars, Star sponsor of Shawna Nelson. Shawna is a committed community driven, entrepreneurial-minded woman supporter. She is also Director of Sales and Marketing at The Sheraton Cavalier and The James Hotel in downtown Saskatoon. Shawna Nelson is the Past Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce where she will have spent a total 9 years committed to the Chamber movement. She has also sat on the Board of Directors for the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, she is the founder and event host of Shaken with a Twist, an event that Trusted has sponsored for 3 years, managed by WESK & the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, it is a monthly televised networking event which promotes women entrepreneurs in our community. Most recently she sat on the 2017/2018 Board for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce representing Saskatchewan on a national platform and she is the recipient of the 2016 Athena Award, presented by BPW Saskatoon.

Swinging With The Stars is one of the most popular charity events in the province.
Saskatoon City Hospital (SCH)
In 2018 the charity benefiting from the event is The Irene and Leslie Dubé Centre of Care, Breast Health Centre. The centre is located at Saskatoon City Hospital. SWTS needs your help to fund diagnostic equipment that is better able to capture images, especially for women with denser breasts – approximately 40% of the population.
Proceeds from Swinging with the Stars 2018 will support the purchase of an Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS)
Swinging With The Stars holds a special place in the hearts of the Trusted team, as our founder Sara Wheelwright competed in the contest as a star dancer herself in SWTS 2015.
